Thanks for visiting my gardening blog!

My name is Lisa Paik and in this post I will be describing the turn of events that led me to write this blog and the goals I have for it.

It all started in the summer of 2014.
As a result of two grape tomato plants gifted to me, I was immediately bitten by the green bug. (If you’re a gardener, I’m sure you can relate!) Soon after getting the grape tomato plants situated, I ran out to purchase cucumber and pepper seeds. Then I bought a strawberry plant. And a mature jalapeño plant. And zucchini seeds. And it’s basically all down hill from there. I now have about 60 different kinds of seeds (and counting)! D:

While I’m still only at my humble gardening beginnings, my crazed passion for gardening has led me to learn a ton about pests, diseases, and plant care that I would like to share with you. As such, the purpose of this blog is to track the progress of a variety of flowers, herbs, and vegetables I am growing. By doing so, you can compare and contrast how your plants are doing by using my successes (and failures) as references.

Aphids on my pepper plant!

Being the novice gardener that I am, I’m sure that I’ll still be needing lots of help, so I would love to hear your advice as well!

Some goals for this blog…
I would love to make this a resource for a wide variety of plants and gardening on a personal level. By incorporating spreadsheets that detail overviews of plants, and lots of pictures to help you identify the health and problems of your plant, I hope to make this an experience-backed one-stop-shop for your gardening related questions.

Thanks again for your time, and you go have yourself a terrific day! 😉
